Our policy

Our policy

We are a practice with a diverse team of dentists, assistants, prevention assistants, clinical assistants and a dental hygienist. All work together in a dynamic setting to give you the best possible high-quality dental care. For you as a patient, this means that apart from your regular dentist, you will also regularly see one of the other team members. You can think of treatments such as dental cleaning, but also of various small treatments for which the assistants are certified. This is always done on the advice and under the supervision of the dentist. We do our best to see to it that you are treated as much as possible by the same practitioners.

What do we expect?

To keep your teeth healthy, it is important that you have periodic oral examinations. Together with you, your dentist will draw up a short and long-term care plan and discuss why and how often you can make your appointments with you. It is possible that one or more treatments with the (paro)-prevention assistant are part of the plan.

It is also important that you follow our tips and advice. Make sure you clean your teeth every day and follow the advice about oral hygiene and your diet. On the website you will find information about treatments and links to information leaflets. If you want to know more about advice, treatment, costs or risks, ask for extra explanation or to make things clear to you.

When something changes.

Keep us informed about changes in your health situation. Tell your practitioner if you are taking medication, have a disease in your heart or arteries, are pregnant or are being treated by a doctor in any way. Also keep us informed of changes to your name and address details, telephone number and email address.

Your appointments

If you have made an appointment with us, we have reserved a treatment room and time of one or more practitioners for you. That is why we ask you to be on time. To minimize the chance of forgetting your appointment, we will send you a reminder by e-mail or text message two days before your planned appointment.

At our reception desk you can make an new appointment on the spot for your next six-monthly check-up . If you did not make this appointment, we will send you a reminder by email when it is time for your periodic check-up. You will also get a reminder by text message two days before your planned appointment.

Canceling appointments

We also ask that you only cancel appointments if there is really no other choice. This must be done at least two working days before the appointment. So, cancellations for Monday must be given to us by telephone no later than Thursday. In case of cancellation later than 48 hours in advance or if you do not show up without notice, we are sorry to have to charge costs for this. You cannot claim these with your health insurer. Not getting a reminder email or tekst message is not a valid reason for a missed appointment. You are always responsible for keeping an appointment that you made.

Billing

Billing will take place via Infomedics. Infomedics will send and claim your bill directly with your dental insurance company. You will get a bill by email for any amount and/or personal contribution that is left. If you do not have an insurance, you will get the full bill by e-mail.

Would you like to pay immediately? We also have this possibility, but we prefer to send you a bill via Infomedics.
